Great restaurant & tavern - Fun hangout

The Back Porch is one of our favorites. Basically one of those places where you walk in and feel instantly comfortable. It has a really good lunch special and their brisket is some of the best that I know of. At lunch it is has the feel of a Texas home with a nice sweet waitstaff. Early dinner is somewhat the same way and then as the live music kicks in, it has more of a feel of a hill country dance hall.

Only place I really know of that has local singer / songwriters perform on a regular basis. It is a neat place and good food.

Lots of live music. Has the feel of a down home Texas bar/restuarant in a small Texas town. Nice bar and cheap drinks.
